Master Plan for Sabarimala

The government has envisaged a master plan for Sabarimla Hindu Pilgrim Centre under Mission 676. The road will be widened for vehicles coming from and going to for Nilackal parking ground. The work of sewage plant will be completed and 13 queue complexes will be constructed from Marakkoottam to Saramkuthi.

Work of the ‘mandapam’ in which 500 people can dine at a time will be completed and a toilet block will be constructed, Minister V S Sivakumar told a press conference here on Saturday.

The environmental study of material ropeway will be completed to start the work, a modernised plant to make ‘appam and aravana’ will be set up and the augmentation of Kunnar dam will be completed.
