After nearly two decades Ashtabandakalasam is being conducted at Lord Ayyappa temple here on October 20.
The idol reconsecration ceremony will be held between 4.40 am and 6 am under the leadership of Thantri Kandararu Rajivaru. In connection with the idol reconsecration ceremony, special rituals, including prasadhasudhi and bimbasudhi, will be conducted on October 18 and 19. The ceremony will be performed with the objective of strengthening the position of the idol with the platform. One-day astrology: Noted astrologer Padmanabha Sharma conducted an ‘Ottarassi prasnam’ at #Sabarimalaon September 15 and suggested the the new golden flag mast be installed on June 25, 2017. On the basis of prasnam findings, Ashtadravya Ganapathi homam, Thrikala Bhagavathiseva and Mahamrityumjaya homam were performed on Sunday. Mahasudarsana homam will be conducted on September 20.
